Milwaukee Hedgehog Rendezvous 2008 Fundraising Opportunities
An auction to raise funds for Hedgehog charities is a tradition at Hedgehog Shows. The 2006 Milwaukee Hedgehog Rendezvous raised over $800.00 for Hedgehog Rescue. The beneficiaries of our 2006 auction were:
This year’s auction contains plenty of nifty merchandise, so bid high as all of the money raised will benefit Hedgehog Rescue and Hedgehog Health Research.
Fifty percent of the money raised will be used to fund Uterine Cancer Research. The other fifty percent will go to the Flash and Thelma Memorial Hedgehog Rescue.

The
Flash and Thelma Memorial Hedgehog Rescue, Inc., provides rescue services
for abused, neglected, abandoned, and no longer wanted hedgehogs throughout
North America. The Rescue also has agreements with animal control agencies in
states where hedgehogs are illegal to possess (primarily California) to fly the
hedgehogs out of the illegal state to our Rescue. A Colorado nonprofit
corporation, Flash and Thelma is federally licensed by the USDA (Class C -
84-C-0075) and by the State of Colorado as an animal shelter and rescue
(#3190). We have an active foster care program but do not adopt out or sell
hedgehogs. We are a "no kill" shelter and provide whatever it takes in
veterinary care to restore our rescue hedgehogs to health, and to maintain
